Artesia Bulldogs on the Horizon
Artesia High School football, with all the
excitement & electricity, officially begins
Thursday,with the JVB meeting Lovington.
Friday's varisty opener will also pit the
'Dogs against the Wildcats in Lovington.

For anyone who has never been to an
Artesia Friday night game, it is an event
that must be experienced.  The entire
community, including students at FLETC,
back the Bulldogs.  This spirit is contagious
and permeates the Bulldog Bowl, adding to
the intimidation of their worthy opponents,
many of whom are larger 5-A schools.

As a rule, many of the players on the team
are not only excellent athletes and
well-coached, but have been playing
together as a team for half of their lives...
this is an advantage larger cities do not
enjoy.

We will not feature football on Artesia
360
as a rule, because we're not here to
reinvent the wheel, as it were.  Sports
Editor Brienne Green of the Artesia Daily
Press does an excellent job of covering,
presenting and archiving
Bulldog Sports
and her site is highly recommended.

Furthermore,
KSVP/KZ*93 Radio
broadcasts the games live and are as lively
and energetic as the fans themselves.

Regardless, we at Artesia
360 are Bulldog
Fans also!  And to note the beginning of a
new season, albeit we have only file photos
(as the season has not yet begun, I
suppose it would be unrealistic to expect
otherwise) we want to share our
enthusiasum with you and yours....

However, we will be GLAD to publish your
submitted photos and information on any
Bulldog sports event or other youth activity.
Send your photos and information to
editor@artesia360.com.
